I’m new to using a medium coverage concealer so maybe a dumb question. When I blow my nose or wipe my mouth after eating should the concealer be wiping off almost completely? Or am I not priming properly?

Are you using setting powder/spray?

Also not a dumb question, you never know unless you ask! That’s how we learn :)

Yes I am! I use the elf sunscreen as a primer, conceal, powder, then setting spray

Ok cool! One thing you could try is a little more powder on that area after the setting spray, so like sandwich the spray (powder, spray, powder), but honestly it is totally normal for the makeup to come off when you blow your nose or wipe your face. The best thing you can do is probably just try to not wipe your face with the tissue but more so blot at it if that makes sense. It’s kind of like when there’s a stain and you rub it, it spreads. Or maybe use a little less product in that area

But a little bit is gonna come off, totally natural. It shouldn’t all come off. You could also try checking to make sure the products you’re using are all the same base. Makeup products are either water or silicone based and your products should all be the same base for it to blend better and last longer. All you would do for that is look at the first few ingredients on the list. If water is in the first couple, it’s water based.
