Hey not trying to be rude at all but are you sure it is eczema? I had a similar thing and went to a dermatologist about it and it was actually like a second skin kinda and I got rid of it by just using a gentle cleanser and took a break from my retinols!!

It’s ok! I’m not sure what it is really. I had it for several years but like these past 2 years it’s been super bad. It gets itchy sometimes and the skin is darker, and it’s super super scaly. Same thing with the inside of my ears, i have 0 earwax and it’s only just painful scaly skin and itchy

defo go get it actually diagnosed so you can get prescribed a cream for it, your college should hopefully have free healthcare

I’m gonna get a second opinion from another dermatologist. The one i went to was dismissive. She didn’t even look in my ears and was like “yeah you’re fine ok bye” and just overall didn’t address my concerns with much maturity. Big popular girl vibes LOL. I got prescribed a cream for my eye but im nervous to use it bc no one tells me if its eye safe or not

My doctor prescribed me this ointment which helps, it loosens the skin and basically sloughs it out…tmi lol but i use it sparingly because it gets super runny bc my body heat
