I'd agree if stopping producing physical copies would also reduce the cost of games - which it wont, so it's just corporate greed

if i buy a disc, i will have the game as long as i have the disc. if i get my game from the playstore, i have it as long as playstation wants me to have it. which, if we look at the other announcement they posted about the closing of the ps3 playstore….
