Use the cheap $1 shampoo it’s so much better for your hair anyway. I think it’s suave and I love it, and I can literally afford expensive shampoo

Follow up questions: are you a man or a woman, what is your hair texture, do you condition, is volume important to you? If you’re saying this as someone that JUST needs to have clean hair (i.e a man with easily management hair) I must know so I can make an informed decision 🤣🤣

I’m a woman with thick, fine hair that’s naturally straight/wavy. It makes my hair rlly soft and moisturized bc I struggle with dry at the ends and oily hair at the top. I put a ton of conditioner at the bottom (and I CAN waste it bc it’s like $1-2.) volume isn’t rlly a concern for me but I have grown out curtain bangs that have body. So if you leave ur hair in a certain position to dry then it should have volume if ur like me

It’s helped with those problems (oily top/dry bottom)

i have extremely thick, long hair that goes between wavy and curly at parts, and suave is what i use. the keratin boosting one, i think? it makes my hair feel cleaner than any other shampoo and im able to feel good ab washing/conditioning multiple times. i cant tell how volume changes between this and other products bc i mainly focus on feel, but i wouldnt say its flat. ive mostly noticed that between this and my bonnet, my hair gets a lot more obvious in its curls

Idk why women think men’s hair is automatically easy to handle bro, I’m a guy and I gotta use like 12 products just to not look homeless

Long hair sits differently than short hair. If it’s long then it’s harder to keep the body in it

Yeah there are brands out there that are surprisingly better for curly hair than the expensive shit but only cause they’re clarifying and NOT all of the cheap ones, but it’s cool to learn that you can have a curly hair routine that isn’t destroying ur bank

Completely agree. I’m a 5’10 woman with hair to my ass crack and I use Pantene. Whenever ppl ask what I do to my hair I say I use Pantene. That’s it. They think I’m lying and gatekeeping. If you don’t have color treated hair you DONT need super expensive products. Most the times it’s uncharged bc they assume you can afford expensive products for expensive color.

Pantene isn’t “good” for your hair bc it coats it with something on top which is what makes it so shiny. I don’t judge you for using it, if it makes your hair look pretty and healthy it doesn’t matter. I don’t recommend it though because it can cause build up and for me it caused dry ends eventually
