Exactly. All ya did was turn to the fridge behind you and hand me a Pepsi. Why in the world would I tip on that?

Because the billion dollar companies would make their stockholders sad if they paid their employees a living wage

Bruh if you're not going to tip the people who actually run the shit, don't patronize the business at all. That's a much more effective way of taking down the capitalist machine than directly impacting workers. Like if you use doordash but you don't want to tip, then don't use doordash.

I’m not saying don’t tip the workers, and I’m also very pro capitalist 😭 just a funny meme critiquing the excessive tipping culture and lack of companies paying livable wages

I don't have the bandwidth to deal with the people who make my job harder.

So a lack of tolerance for people you disagree with? What’s your job may I ask

No, a lack of tolerance for deliberate underpayment. Luckily my work is freelance, so I hold the right to deny service when the terms are not reasonable. When you are your own boss, rejecting lowballs is necessary to not completely fucking sink yourself. Capitalism is counterintuitive to the human mind. Everyone wants to pay as little as possible. Not just the corporations. If freelancers didn’t put a foot down, they’d be working for free.
