my grandpa has the biggest tv l've ever seen it's so unnecessary but last time we went to Costco he walked over and gave it a pat on the shoulder and said "you recognize this fellow?" it's so cute it's such a big deal to him

so you want our hourly wages to go down so we would make less??? everything has a domino effect here. either way we're cooked no matter what. there is no winning. something has to be higher or lower in order for it to work. you cant have a low wage and lower cost of food/living. they are both higher bc as one or the other goes up or down, they both have the same affect on each other. like say our wages go down, the price of housing would be lower (we hope) bc we make less money.

but since we make less money, we still cannot afford to buy a house or appartment bc we make less. the same with food. it depends on your job and weather you can make a livable wage. but if you're making minimum wage, you are gonna struggle no matter what.

No I’m saying it’s very interesting that things I thought were luxury items, are actually the ones lower in the graph. Idk in my brain things like housing and food should be more affordable than tvs and cars

Minimum wage has not increased since 2009. Housing prices have gone up 55% since Covid. Yeah. Let’s lower minimum wage. That’ll fix it. 🥴
