because masculinity is seen as superior, so women who want to present themselves as more masculine make sense to the patriarchy, but men who want to present themselves as more feminine are shunned out of misogyny

there’s a lot of other factors caused by patriarchy that contribute to this (eg masculinity being seen as the norm/femininity seen as a deviation from the norm, & toxic masculinity). like it really is just patriarchy 💔
