All my peers have in long term relationships or are already married: even the grad students younger than me. I’m alone no matter what I do and I 100% expect to be one of those cases where I die suddenly and my body is found years later because no one would notice I’m gone. I mean nothing to no one, platonic or romantic or otherwise.
