My parents don’t support the fact I’m going to prom with my best friend. Like be happy for me? She invited me, I may of put the idea out there, but she invited me and wants me to come. My mom thinks I shouldn’t go bc she has a boyfriend

I’d be concerned if her boyfriend feels hurt by this. Like why aren’t they going together. If he is chill with it then you’re fine. Just make sure while there you chat with other people and let them have a little by themselves.

She went to prom her sophomore year with her ex, then she went to prom her junior year and senior year with her now boyfriend
