The buzzcut is calling my name. My hair is sensory nightmare and it’s already a grown out pixie permed. I’ve never went as low as buzz before though.A buzz cut isnt low its perfect for the spring and summer. You can try out wacky colors without compromising long term hair health, you can feel the warm sun on your scalp, it makes hats less irritating. I loved my buzzcut but also ive had short hair all my life because i cannot stand hair touching my ears. If youre worried about that, shaving the sides withba permed pixie would be hella cute and still help with sensory shit. Wind and rain also feel excellent on the scalp
1/2” was the best length when I had a buzz cut, just enough to be buzzy without showing too much scalp! I’ve since grown out my hair but I had a buzz cut for a year and never once regretted it since it gave me the break I needed from dealing with hair. People say it’s hard to grow out but it’s really not as long as you style it like a pixie in its shorter stages. Make sure to invest in some cute beanies before shaving bc otherwise your head will be cold, also wear a hat in the sun to avoid burns
