Gonna go out on a limb here and assume this is about all the recent news and the general feeling most women have these days that men are out to get them (which to be fair some are) and are just too much trouble to deal with and not about men and their overwhelming good contribution to society.
All I’m reading is: things women already do, things women already do, things women already do This post mainly refers to the violence and oppression that exist in this world at the hands of men. 95% of violent crime is committed by who? Men. Imagine a matriarchal world instead of a patriarchal one. Problems would never be zero but they would be pretty damn close.
Every person alive is the product of both sexes, and every functioning society depends on contributions from both. You can acknowledge the very real problem of male violence without turning half of humanity into something disposable. Men need women, women need men, and society would be devastated by the disappearance of either
“Ad hoc” is not a synonym for “irrelevant.” If you think I’m missing the point, the term you’re looking for might be “red herring” or “non sequitur.” An ad hoc argument is a claim introduced specifically to protect another claim from contrary evidence. Repeating the term doesn’t change its definition.
Women commit the large majority of infanticides of newborns. Would “imagine how wonderful life would be if women ceased to exist” therefore be a reasonable response to infanticide? Obviously not. A disparity in harmful behavior doesn’t make the entire sex synonymous with that behavior.
You can recognize that men disproportionately commit violent crime without reducing society’s problems to “men.” Collective blame based on sex isn’t a serious solution to violence or oppression. It has historically led to destructive outcomes, and it certainly isn’t a good foundation for a functioning society
