I mean, I’m majoring in engineering and minoring in law, and all I can say is that they use almost all of the same neural pathways, just with one involving physics and math, the other involving words and logic

dont you have to know the laws for literally every state you practice law in? cus some laws do really differ from state to state and remembering that shit is hard

It depends on what area (aka law specialty) you’re studying/practicing in. For instance, in the US, patent and maritime law are both handled almost entirely at the federal level
