Just because u unconsciously decided on male names for them doesn’t have to make them male! I got rly uncomfy when people talked about this a while ago too cause I realized I use he/him pronouns for my fav plushie, but then I took a second and told myself that it’s literally just a plushie, it doesn’t have to have a gender lol!
