Try to find healthier versions of things you already eat. For example, I make mini pizzas out of bread, so for me that looked like replacing the bread with low calorie flat bread. Also make sure calories out > calories in. Or if that’s too much prep, try low calorie frozen food brands.

Commenting because I am also trying to lose weight but I hate avocados, cottage cheese, and eggs with a passion.

increasing your movement (even in small ways like fidgeting), and getting a real idea of how many calories you eat in a day. i get my movement by hula hooping or using an exercise bike while i watch tv. i also figured out the sensory reasons why i liked/disliked foods and found alternatives in those categories

Can’t and won’t are two different things. Losing weight isn’t easy and you have to work hard at it.

there are tons of methods to lose weight and this just sounds like some boomer shit. i lost 70lbs while only eating ramen and ice-cream pretty much bc i had a messed up gut and needed surgery. skinny doesn’t mean healthy and fat doesn’t mean unhealthy

fat 100% always means unhealthy. idc if you eat a head of lettuce a day, it means you are eating too much if you are putting on enough weight to be legitimately fat. in no universe is putting that added strain on your body while simply maintaining function even remotely conducive to longterm health.

this is incorrect. i’m skinny and my mom is fat and between the two of us, im the unhealthy one. she can hike up mountains, has perfect bloodwork, and eats a balanced diet full of nutritious food. i’m skinny but can’t do any exercise and only eat junk food, and my bloodwork is also awful. this has been the case my entire life because i have a chronic illness and she doesn’t. stereotyping people and assuming their health because of their body size has been detrimental to both of us
