mirroring is done subconsciously, unintentionally, most of the time. i pick up my uncle’s mexican accent without meaning to at all. he knows what’s up & he doesn’t mind. mirroring means mirroring the way other ppl act. if ur mirroring speech patters & words, it’s not like out of this world to believe that the accent would also be mirrored. don’t beat yourself up. you know yourself & what ur mind automatically does to fit in well enough. if u feel okay to id just explain that to ur coworkers :)
