Usually I just avoid foundation or contouring etc bc it feels like face paint. But eyeliner and maybe a little eyeshadow and lip gloss can look great on their own

i also touch my face a lot especially rubbing my eyes, is there a way to make eye makeup last longer or feel lighter so i don’t notice it as much and thus touch my eyes less?

I love it but I hate wearing it in public bc I feel like people are looking at me

I think the only way to make it feel lighter is by using less product and/or using a skin tint instead of foundation. Sincerely, I also hate heavy foundation on my face

I do mascara or nothing cause I hate the ways it feels and it pisses me off trying to do it correctly. Sometimes I feel pretty with extra lipstick or stuff but I need to be able to touch my face like the feral rat I am 😂

I’ve also found that regularly doing eye makeup has helped me to stop rubbing my eyes or touching my face as much, it’s still a work in progress but if I’m always aware of it then it’s easier

Yeah there’s ways to make it last longer! You’re also probably putting on more than you need which is a common thing in the beginning

Hi!! I'm a professional show performer! As someone who has to wear a lot of makeup on the regular and make it last: primers, translucent setting powders, and setting sprays are super helpful. Apply a concealer or primer to eyelids before applying eye makeup. Liquid blush can also be used as eyeshadow- blend with a brow brush or blending sponge

The cool feeling of setting spray after and using a moisturizer before helps it to feel less heavy for me, especially as a cosplayer
