Girl it’s so valid. I am diagnosed. For me, sometimes I resonate with the label more and sometimes I resonate less. Imo if it helps your mental well-being and doesn’t come from a place if internalized ableism, you’re valid

Does this question apply in the opposite direction? If you have done research, gathered evidence and have been through a few different questionnaires and put your time and effort into a possible self diagnosis but you’re unable to acquire a formal psychiatric diagnosis?

without getting an actual diagnosis there is no fact, only presumption
