when you took the test how did you feel? autism is a spectrum, maybe you are just lower on the spectrum than others. or maybe you’ve developed and integrated a lot of masking behaviors like many other girls even myself because it’s expected of us while autism in boys is generally taken more seriously enough to be properly diagnosed and accommodated. if you related to most of the questions then i would say you probably have autism.

I feel the EXACT same way. Not diagnosed yet but getting tested this week and I relate to everything I read about my research in autism and women. If the test comes back negative, then what? I still have the same struggles and what if the negative result means I’ve been faking it? But I know I’m not faking struggling. I scored high on the autism quotient test and the camouflage/masking test
