I hate it so much when someone teases me or makes a joke and I play along with it and they act like I’m freaking out… I don’t understand it. I’m laughing, I’m smiling, I make a joke or act fake upset in response and all of a sudden they think I don’t know that it’s a joke???? Sometimes I think that they’re the ones that lack social competency

it’s like everyone can tease ppl but me 😭 the second i do it back, it’s “it was just a joke” and now i’m too embarrassed to say anything else cause it’s like getting backed into a social corner

sometimes I’m the one saying “oh sorry I was joking” because I lack social skills so yeah this checks out 😭 tbf I did one time have someone who genuinely thought I hated him because I’d tease him and didn’t realize he thought I wasn’t kidding
