I honestly like and find closure in me being different because it explains why I act the way I do or why I may feel isolated or ‘weird’. It helps me to feel grounded and that I’m actually not weird and that it is a diagnosis that many other people share. It’s weird to some but our normal. And their normal is our weird. Knowing that I am different is what makes me feel grounded and great because it explains my behavior or why I may act a certain way and not ‘fit in’ with certain people & thats ok
Atp although I still have rejection sensitivity, scar tissue prevents me from being easily defeated from the looks and the beginning stages of being left out. I rise on good experiences even if they didnt turn into lifelong friendships. Im tired of trying to tie myself down to other typical’s levels to feel seen. I think they should try harder to see me tbh because I may be “weird” but my character and skills rise above that. I accept that I’m different and there isn’t a cure for it.
