Idk I don’t use it bc generalizing a whole gender feels immature no matter what to me . But I think the mindset is, no it’s not all men, but it’s a society built around men, it’s all around us, so they hate the concept of all men and what the patriarchy has done. Basically all men is a stand in for the patriarchy, not actual individual men.
okay well it's not about you. we've gone through centuries of abuse and inequity from a patriarchal society. so yes we're angry, and we have a right to express that. if you take offense that you're issue tbh. i get that it might hurt your feelings a little but if you're genuinely a good person then i'm sure your friends know that. unfortunately it's the extreme majority that are horrible people.
It mainly comes from younger women who are more inexperienced, immature, and susceptible to TikTok brainrot and propaganda. The messaging does nobody any favors; just makes more men more misogynistic due to being attacked, and more women feel hatred and angry at men who never did anything to deserve it
You are mentally ill and should seek therapy. No mental health professional, or legitimately any professional, will agree with you that classifying the extreme majority of men as horrible people is correct or healthy. I'm not offended, but I do simply feel sorry for you. I hope you can heal your trauma through therapy and maybe one day contribute constructively to the patriarchy problem instead of inflaming it further. Try also getting information from sources other than angry TikTok influencers
You are a projecting, braindead misogynist. You’re practically doing the same thing, generalizing mental health professionals by assuming that every single one of them are morally righteous according to your standards. Women don’t owe men grace. Saying “I hate all men” isn’t inflaming the patriarchy, but shaming women who rightfully express their frustration and anger towards their oppressors is. The only one who seems to be getting their information from TikTok is you.
