If I miss my ex, what should I do about it? I know I shouldn’t contact him and I don’t have intentions of doing that. But I don’t know how to stop missing him or stop thinking about him. It’s been almost four months. Sometimes please help me out. 🙏🏻

Some things just take more time than others. I’ve found it helpful to try to move on and see new people, but that doesn’t always work. Missing people is totally normal, but if it’s messing with your day to day, you might have to take more active efforts to move on

It’s going to take time especially if it was a significant relationship that lasted a while. My suggestion is maybe going to therapy to talk about it?

I’ve been in therapy for almost eight months now and yes, talking about it does help, but it doesn’t make me stop thinking about him. Thank you for the advice though :)

Ask yourself what you miss about him and see if there’s places you can find those things otherwise. For example, I got closer with my friends and it helped to replace the memories of my ex by doing things with them that I associated with the relationship
