Yes like I know it will be a beautiful thing and especially worth it when you love your kids but I’m scared for the after effects your body’s changed forever

Not deathly but it is kind of a weird concept I’m bracing myself for knowing I’ll eventually want to have kids of my own

Yeah girl like I always knew I don’t want no kids like there’s no way I’m screwing my body and my mental health for giving birth so it helps to be clear about that

Yes, it’s precisely one of the many reasons I don’t want and will never have kids. Pregnancy is so much more dangerous than what we’re told. It’s just not worth it to me.

Yes and I’m also a trans guy so not only do I not want to give birth because the changes sound scary, it would also be an incredibly dysphoric experience. I am so diligent abt my birth control lmao

I want biological kids sm because I would love to make little people that are a combination of me and the man I love most, but I just don’t think it’s worth the permanent damage to the only body I get.

Tbh I don’t think pregnancy is what it used to be. The food we eat has changed over the last 2 generations with the hormones and additives and all that. We’d be going into pregnancy with all ready fucked up hormones. So the pregnancy and giving birth by would destroy us. You know what I mean? Women’s bodies aren’t what they used to be like. And it’s not our fault. I hope you get what in trying to say here. Personally I have pcos and I’m barely managing it. I know pregnancy would fuck me up bad

i've always wanted kids. Actually always wanted a huge family… But trying to find a partner who is also willing for that dream is very difficult and heartbreaking. Sure I can just get knocked up with a bunch of baby daddies (gross), but that's not the point of having kids for me. I want a FAMILY. not just kids.

Yes i’d rather die than be pregnant, i’ve known my entire life im never letting it happen to me which is why im on BC and NEVER forget to use condoms, if i could get a hysterectomy with no actual surgery or lasting effects i’d have already done it

its slightly scary but like my body is literally made for that, and we know way more about women’s bodies now than beforehand. i’m going to do it the natural way as well, my mom had better experiences that way and i know two women who actually had completely painless births that way

A woman is a woman even if she doesn’t want kids. And your dream can be to have kids but that doesn’t mean it’s everyone else’s.

ā€œIdk what exact wordsā€ should help your claim out. Whatever it was, it’s pretty close. From what I remember, you said ā€œWhat kind of woman doesn’t want kids? It’s every woman’s dream to have kidsā€

I think it was was the ā€œmy body was literally made for thatā€ comment. They’re conflating ā€œbecause my body evolved to be able to do itā€ (which it objectively did) with ā€œtherefore every woman must have kids and that’s her only purpose in life.ā€ Which is not what you said. It’s a misplaced knee jerk reaction on their part.
