How do you get your makeup to look smooth and not so cakey or flakey? i’m not sure if it’s my makeup or if it’s my skin, but it looks so flakey and patchy

Really good skincare, blending it all the way. Keep blending until you can’t blend anymore, let your setting spray sit for at least a good min so you aren’t smudging it off, blend it again after you set before you use setting powder to smooth out harsh lines

Okay so! It’s going to look textured because skin does have texture. But my advice is using less face products then normal that way it isn’t so thick. Put on in layers. Use a good primer and base layer and use powder to set it.

a hella strong moisturizer to put on at night, clinique moisture surge for example it’s expensive but GOOD.

I started moistening with jojoba oil at night and then with a little in the morning followed by my usual eye cream and moisturizer. My skin feels so much nicer, but I also don’t wear foundation, concealer, or eyeshadow all that much anymore, so I’m not sure how it would work out

I don’t do makeup so I suggest looking up YouTube videos…I’ve seen some where it talks about the formula and some that talk about setting spray that helps so def check out YouTube

Good hygiene, use of face lotions that match your, primers before makeup, a good foundation (the Estée Lauder CC cream works great), and a setting spray
