1. Calorie deficit, make sure you’re not going too low because that’s unsustainable. For this you will need to use a calorie tracking app. Lose it is a good free option. 2. Any form of exercise you can do everyday. Even a little bit helps. Make sure to factor this into your calorie tracking. 3. Switch to diet soda and drink a lot of water. 4. Don’t beat yourself up if you eat over your calories one day. Don’t try to compensate by eating less the next. Just resume. You can ask more if needed
Literally the best thing that helped me was not eating snacks or food late. Like I cut myself off at 7 or 8 unless I haven’t had food since 12 pm and it’s amazing. Your body will naturally fast during the night and you might even wake up not hungry for breakfast which doubles the fast. I worked out a little over the summer but it’s the main reason I lost 25 pounds!
