I like her personally, and would vote for her if she actually pushed for a good platform. But in 2024 she moved to the right on nearly everything to seem more “moderate” to the republicans that were never going to vote for her anyway

No. Not even on her quality as a candidate either. Her campaign just sucked. If it was a normal election without Trump, she A) wouldn’t have been selected in the primary, and B) would’ve lost by a lot more than she did to Trump even if she was. Her campaign management even acknowledged that they knew that she was literally never ahead for the entire duration of the election via their private data from internally conducted polling. Why would you ever want a campaign like that again 💀

Genuinely one of the most historically ineffective campaigns of all time, especially against someone like Trump. How tf do you fumble an election against him of all people? Granted he was ahead the entire time, so it’s not like Kamala’s campaign could just do nothing and win while he loses himself the race, but they didn’t do anything to help their progress either so it genuinely might’ve been more effective to do nothing

i mean it depends on the pressure from voters, bc that’s part of why congress got them released. trump has been destroying the checks and balances system in our government, alongside the meaningless wars and letting oligarchs have way too much power. if kamala tried to do any of the shit trumps been pulling it would be a huge scandal, which it SHOULD be. either way, i hope the dems can put forward a candidate that actually matches what ppl want, which is def not harris or newsom
