Is there ever a chance to recover from “I’m not looking for anything serious, but would love to be friends”?

Wdym “recover”? Being friends with someone is a great thing If you’re going to be stressed out all the time hoping they’ll eventually change their mind, it might be best to not be friends

No. Sorry man but that’s usually my “im not looking for something (with you…. Ever)”

The issue is that we’re in the same friend group now (we weren’t when we first met)

Then it might be good to work on getting over the crush and finding someone else to pursue, when someone sets a boundary like that you shouldn’t pretend to be their friend hoping they’ll eventually change their mind about it, sets you up for disappointment and puts them in an uncomfortable situation

Would you say it’s a physical, or personality thing usually. Trying to see what I can improve on

Don’t change yourself in hopes of changing someone’s mind about dating you after they’ve already told you they’re not interested. Something you could improve on that will make you more attractive to women is learning how to accept a rejection and move onto someone else

I agree, I meant more so to prepare for the next woman

Everyone’s into different things, so just be respectful and outgoing and you should be able to find someone eventually
