Happy birthday isn’t really bad but in my opinion he shouldn’t be in contact with anyone who he has dated showed interest in or anyone who was interested in him is crosses so many boundaries and it’s disrespectful to you

I would make sure to express if it makes you uncomfortable and if he continues he doesn’t have your best interest at heart because he shouldn’t want to make you feel like that!! Mine says happy birthday and merry Christmas but compliments are a definite no go for us

Imo it’s one-sided but he wants them. UNLESS he’s just the kind of guy to be all affectionate with lots of people. I dated a guy like that, wholesome as all hell. But assuming that’s not the case, 🚩dump his ass. Exhibit boundaries and leave. He can only hurt you beyond this point, you can already tell he’s unwilling to change.

I agree. I didn’t care about wishing a happy birthday but it’s what he said and comes off flirty? and the fact that they had interest in each other in the past.

I agree! And yes I told him how I felt and he said he will be more mindful about what he says but then a few months later I saw he dmed a girl and slid up on her story of her playing tennis and he said “you are so talented, it’s unsettling” and I just don’t know what to do. I saw it in his phone so he doesn’t know that I know about this one now.
