I used to use Flo but I think they sold data to a third party or smthn so I switched to the apple health app. I would like a notification for predicted period day, and also I’d like to the day counter obvi so how many days am I on in cycle. Also a way to put in factors like birth control. No ai

i would want a place where i could put in period specific symptoms, like cramping, back pain, nausea, excessive tiredness, etc, with options for users to fill in stuff specific to them. like have a “menstrual record” as a separate area to other general health notes. also maybe a way to record pain levels and flow levels, it might be useful for long term tracking. should also be able to include if on BC and what type. and i agree on no AI

it’s not a period app, im just trying to make a GOOD, FREE health app, and menstrual data has to go into that if i want it to be well rounded.. but that isn’t my area of expertise lol

i (male) dont get periods so i just need input from people who do. i'm sick of the shitty apple health app and overpriced subscriptions so I'm just trying to combine elements from pther, good health apps (like myfitnesspal calorie counter) and build it natively with local storage. so nobody's data will be harvested obv, i hear that's a big issue w period apps too. anyway PLEASE shoot me ANY idea no matter how bonkers it is. i’m at least willing to try it if it addresses real ppls needs

Idk if this would be too much work but depending on ur cycle there are diff recommended levels of activity and diet that are recommended (ie when to do HIIt vs light cardio and when extra omega 3 or iron is helpful for your cycle) that would be helpful for me personally

I use Flo but I hate that you have to pay a subscription just to get basic knowledge about your period:/ like what products to use for your flow or to check why your period is irregular . They even offer sex /masturbation tips but you have to pay for it :/ I just want to be able to track my period and let me know hey! Your period is coming and not have to check the app everytime to see

also not period related but it’s recommended to do a self breast exam every month so an option to have a reminder for that might be helpful. and when it comes to notifications abt periods, have a few options for how obvious the notifs are. like some ppl want a “your period will likely come in the next 2 days” but someone else might want a more discreet like “health reminder: click to view”

HEAVY ON BIRTH CONTROL!!! I hate they don’t have an option to put what type of birth control you’re on
