I don’t rly understand, almost nobody ends up forever with the person they lost their virginity to, it’s not that big of a deal

If he is toxic, please leave him, that’s more than enough reason. Yes losing your virginity is a sensitive matter and you might still care about him but if you’re losing interest then you don’t love him like you once did and it’s time to move on before it gets worse

the significance of your virginity is only as much as you make of it. not worth staying in a bad relationship for that at all. free yourself

In my head when I have to part with someone. I see it as a book, you’re really interested too and the story line is good and all of a sudden the book changes story line and you don’t give a fuck about the ending. Just yeet that book. You don’t need to know the ending. It was good well it lasted. Time to walk away.

I’m sorry :( it’s not all for nothing though, and you definitely should not stay in a bad relationship with a toxic person just bc of that.

You don't think it's completely ret*rded to stay with someone FORVER just because they took your virginity? 😂

longevity doesnt mean meaningfulness — time doesnt make a relationship more or less meaningful,, ive been with my current bf for almost 6 months and its the most meaningful relationship ive had

For what it’s worth I dated the guy I lost my virginity to for only like 3 months, it was almost 10 years ago and it does not matter or affect me at all

#7 is right. I was with the guy that took my virginity for 3 years and 10 months and it was the worst experience of my life. i regret every second i had with him bc he used that against me post breakup. the longer you stay with them, the more its gonna hurt in the end. dont stay with them out of guilt. get out while you have the motive.
