Just around three weeks ago, she had a breakup. I know nothing about that past relationship though. I’ve been wanting to ask for her number, but I honestly don’t have a clue how I should do it or if I should. What do you think?

a couple bits of context, if she says no are you going to keep coming back to the coffee shop? how uncomfortable are you going to be if you do?

Sorry for the delay. I would still go back. I’m just asking for her number, not asking her out. Of course it would be a little uncomfortable, but I think it’d be fine

i would definitely write your number down on a napkin or something and hand it to her after you get up to leave then! regardless of what you do def do it right before you leave
