Do you guys think your body can reject someone for you? I like this guy but everytime he comes over I struggle so bad with feeling sick and like it’s probably just bc I need a snack but also part of me is like damn my body is straight rejecting him

Omg YES I’ve never heard anyone else say that but I know exactly what you mean. For over a year after my first breakup, any time I cuddled with a guy it was like a 50/50 of whether I would suddenly have to go puke. It did eventually go away

yes! when i was dating my ex not only did i feel icked out like mentally even tho there wasn’t anything really “wrong”, but i also broke out really bad and got UTIs every time we had sex no matter what precautions i was taking, and never had that with anyone else. it’s real!!

Possibly, however I just get really nervous and sick to my stomach hanging out with a guy for the first time so who knows

With my ex we tried to have sex like 3 or 4 times and each time my body just wouldn’t let it happen and I’m very grateful for that because he was actually a POS.

It could be that but I’d also look for other factors. Once I was just allergic to a guy’s cologne lol

Yes! Was dating a guy who was a friend first and really enjoyed spending time with him before we got together. But after we did it was so stressful and I always felt on edge and my anxiety going when spending time together. I had to end it cause it was too much stress for me

Your body’s physical reactions can be tied to how you’re emotionally feeling… it’s not your body by itself rejecting them. That’s not how it works. You are subconsciously not into them

Towards the end of my one relationship sex felt like a chore? Like it didn’t feel loving it felt like we HAD to do it, and I never wanted to be around him. Ngl I was thinking I was a lesbian when we broke up.

Oh yes, 100% I went through that with my ex-boyfriend and it’s literally your body‘s way of telling you that you’re done and that you need to leave. It’s like your subconscious mind is telling you to go.

this is absolutely a thing!!! also if you end up with a lot of utis/yeast infections and it’s not something you usually deal with, it could be your body rejecting a man

it’s possible he’s also just not a clean person. i used to talk to a guy and every time i went over to his i was violently ill but if i was at my place alone, i’d get better quick. even if he came to my spot id feel like crap. turns out he showered like once a week and never cleaned trash out of his room so i was fr getting poisoned.

Yeah I feel you for sure, I’m sorry. For me personally I think it was more about ME not being emotionally ready/stable, rather than a gut feeling about the guy, bc one of those dudes was an angel on Earth but I threw up at his house like a dozen times over the course of a year lmao. But sometimes it’s probably ur body telling you to get away from that man

See like I’m trying to decide if it’s my body telling me no, or if it’s just a combination of my stomach being usually empty plus I’m cuddling another hot body usually under covers or in a full fit so like idk

But also I relate to my nervous system noticing POS men! I would get sick and just be exhausted and irritable after seeing this one guy who constantly disrespected my boundaries and disregarded my interests. My nervous system is still recovering and I deal with FND seizures now.
