The sperm banks that we are looking at, they have so many. Tall men, short men, college degree, no college degree, glasses, no glasses. All of it. There’s at least 75 who are over 6ft, brown hair, blue eyes and white. And that’s the specifics we wanted. Yet, it’s $2000 for one tube. And there’s literally so many options. The one guy, 15 tubes available of one option, 7 in another. All from the same person. He had probably 30+ tubes. And they’re still over a grand. Plus shipping

That honestly makes sense to me still, they still had to vet the donor, regardless of how much sperm there is, and they are taking on a risk as you do with any other procedure. Im not saying i dont sympathize, it absolutely sucks, but 75 people out of a population of millions (im assuming USA) is a small percentage

Which yes I understand. But that’s one specific company. A smaller company too. There’s lots of sites, with individual donors for each. Another website, I got 3,000 donors with the same qualifications. But the price was still the same. Regardless. It’s so unfair that to have a child, we have to pay thousands of dollars for just a single try
