I’ve been talking with this girl for a while and I intended on asking her out in about 2 weeks we’ve been going on dates and basically have been acting like a couple but she tells me yesterday she has a boyfriend. I hate cheaters and now I don’t know.

as a woman with a boyfriend, that’s weird asf. i would never do consistent one on one (rather intimate) hangouts that mirror the “talking stage” of new relationships. having friends that are guys as a girl and vice versa is not a problem, but it feels odd that she wouldn’t say she has a boyfriend until so long into you knowing her

And i understand people of the opposite sec being friends but I also understand boundaries exist and if he's uncomfortable with the fact that she is kinda behaving in his mind more romantically than friendly he is allowed to feel that way?

This sounds like friendly outings and that’s likely what she was thinking. Just hangouts and having a study partner. I have friends like that and we grab food together, study, and just hangout together just the 2 of us but we know it’s platonic
