So I found out that a man I was seeing lied about his sexual health and history and now I’m experiencing symptoms for something incurable I’m getting tested on Tuesday but I feel so humiliated and stupid

In some states it’s illegal to knowingly transmit a sexual disease to a sexual partner. You would be considered a victim of a crime in those states. It’s not your fault. Just take this as a lesson to protect yourself in the future. Remember just because you left your door unlocked, doesn’t mean it’s ok for someone to walk in and rob you. He shouldn’t have lied to you and I’m so sorry that you have to go through this

Thank you I’m just so worried if it’s not curable how am I going to even have a partner in the future who doesn’t commit crimes against me?

Take it one step at a time. Take the test, get the results, then focus on healing emotionally. Don’t engage in another relationship until you feel like you can start trusting people.

Yea I just tested positive for HSV-2. I guess the good news is that I can take antivirals from now on and it reduces asymptomatic shedding. So I’ll have it forever but at least it’s a manageable disease
