demonstrably untrue. whatever you think of socialism and communism, there just aren't that many countries which could be described as socialist or communist. cuba and venezeuela are pretty much it. immigrants from central america who travel through mexico to the US are just fleeing bad economic conditions generally.
Little do they know we are slowly falling to fascism ourselves. You gotta consider that yeah living in South Korea is probably a much better option than living in North Korea, but South Korea is still a capitalist hell hole where the majority suffers so like😬 All this is really saying is that America is less bad than these “socialist/communist” countries. (Most aren’t actually socialist or communist)
As an American I wish I lived under an anarcho-communist “government” (the anarcho part is the lack of government control) where we could all just be equals and not have a ruling class dictating everything we do and taking power. The people aren’t fleeing what you think they’re fleeing. They’re leaving oppressive governments and unsafe places trying to save themselves/their families and looking for something BETTER.
are you forgetting north korea? folks are starving, dying in the streets with their organs falling out, and nobody is doing anything about it. the NK people were promised a paradise of free everything, and now they're trapped, brainwashed, have no freedoms, are slaughtered by their own government, and believe their government can hear their thoughts. oh, and they believe that they have it good compared to the rest of the world, thanks to what their government has told them.
Sure but countries have the right to regulate immigration. To set limits and decide who gets to come in. Immigrating isn’t some human right and certainly not a recognized right in the constitution. The better option for everyone is to solve the problems of your country. That’s the only option for most people in these countries. Not everyone is capable of immigrating. Staying and fixing the country would benefit them too.
If white Europeans had just tried to stay in their country and fix their problems there instead of coming to America then this country wouldn’t exists and neither would we lmao… obviously people are going to move and start new in different places and that’s OKAY. Immigration and mixing of cultures is a GOOD THING
Partly. Europe wasn’t a bad place to live back then. The world at the time was in an age of exploration. People weren’t just moving to new countries. They were creating them from nothing. Being a settler was significantly harder than just staying where they were. And while cultural mixing isn’t inherently bad, too much certainly can be. You can completely lose your cultural identity like what’s happening to Europe now. When you immigrate you’re supposed to adopt the culture you move to.
