Makes sense. Very attractive men probably see women as nothing more than objects and very unattractive men are probably resentful of women

Needs more verification but I could see a reason for it. One group resents that women don’t want them and the other gets cocky because so many do (even if in passing). Both react by being hostile because neither has nothing to lose.

A rewording: "Men who exist at the extreme lows/highs of the attractiveness spectrum both exhibit extreme hostility toward women"
