Should I tell my future long term bf my past with other men? Most of them were verbally abusive & would SA me which caused me to get anxiety & I get hesitant when I’m touched during intimacy. I’m scared they may switch up & use it against me later

My partner went through something similar, and I’m really glad that they’re open with it. Obviously I would never make them go into detail, but the last thing I would want to do is do something that reminds them of their trauma. If you feel safe doing it and trust him, I would at least tell your bf any possible triggers/things that make you uncomfortable

No. And this goes for men too. Dont tell anyone anything. Always assume the worst.

Maybe hint, but don’t share too much detail. Say something like “bad past experience”. As an experiment, you could invent a trauma story to share that’s totally unrelated. Something like “when I was a kid, I crashed a bicycle into a hot grill and get flashbacks when I’m around bicycles”. Or something. Then see if he uses that against you. It won’t hurt as much if the weapons he uses aren’t real. Then once you know you can trust him, tell him the full truth.
