am i wrong for being upset that my boyfriend never comforts me unless i blatantly say “i need comforted”. like, sobbing next to him, and he just sits there hardly doing anything.

Based on my experience it will never get better. If he doesn’t know when you need support he will never know. It gets exhausting always asking for support when upset.

Girl if you don’t break up with him. This is just someone who doesn’t know how to process emotions and needs to mature and learn to understand feelings and basic needs without a direct order. Side note: does he also need to be told to clean or what to clean and how to take basic care of himself?
