No. Some people are genuinely bad at responding to crying and stuff like that, so I wouldn’t necessarily say it doesn’t mean he cares. But it is something you need to address, if you feel the relationship is worth continuing.

Based on my experience it will never get better. If he doesn’t know when you need support he will never know. It gets exhausting always asking for support when upset.

As a man only logical explanation I can give, Idk he might just be tired of you. I’ve cared at first when I think the crying is over something real, then less when I realize it’s just a common response for a lot of girls to cry. If I really cared for her deep though I’d comfort every time versus if she seeks out being a victim I’d just ignore it

Girl if you don’t break up with him. This is just someone who doesn’t know how to process emotions and needs to mature and learn to understand feelings and basic needs without a direct order. Side note: does he also need to be told to clean or what to clean and how to take basic care of himself?
