The surgery is literally nothing if you’re getting knocked out. Just try your hardest not to develop dry socket after bc that is what sucks

i dont remember anything about it, the only memory of it is a picture pf me drooling on the kitchen floor, ik this is silly but just relax, prep some icecream and apple sauce for the recovery, and enjoy being legally high

But also if you get dry socket it’s not the end of the world bc you can go back in and get it packed and it literally makes it feel like it never happened. I just waited too long before doing that in nonstop pain bc I was being stupid idek

I know deep down I’m fine, but I’m still so jittery and restless despite the fact I know I’ll be completely ok

That’s normal, really nothing to fix it. Basic anxiety once it’s all over you’ll have peace with the fact it’s over

Thank you! Also I asked about ice cream this morning pre-op and I was wrong, you can actually have cold stuff! It’s apparently the hot stuff you’re supposed to back off from

It went about as well as I could’ve expected, and I’m currently extremely grateful for the prescribed painkillers because I feel great. Definitely gonna be taking it easy for the next few days
