Do women care about how many sexual partners men have? Outside of general comparability reasons, which I think is fully valid.

Personally I don’t really care unless it’s some outrageous number

I know on the internet it seems like a lot of men care quite a bit how high of a body count a girl has, so I’m curious if this applies to men too.

I don’t care as long as they are tested

id prefer to not be someone’s first body, but idc how high it is. my last couple exes have had very high numbers. works out better i think since mine is also high, and there’s no point of contention there

Care in what sense?

I mean yes but not for the same reasons probably. I don’t prefer a “too extreme” body count but I’d prefer someone’s that is close to or only a few lower or higher than mine. I would feel nervous to be someone’s first body

I just left a comment kinda explaining more, but in the same way guys think it’s a moral judgment or indicative of overall character

Not in the same way, because the reason men care about "body count" is rooted in misogyny/patriarchy and the concept doesn't really exist in the reverse

I figured honestly, but I’m also curious to see individual opinions matter. I really wish I was smart enough to like, use this information for something but mostly it’s just interesting to hear.

Well curiosity and listening are crucial parts of being smart so I'd say you're doing better than you think

Tyy, I mean mostly I wish I could apply this to some actual study or something. Maybe it’s because I’m having to do so many methods lately for bio lol

You could look into some sociology/social psych studies, especially ones in the general feminist umbrella. Might be interesting to you!

Yess I’m about to fight tooth and nail to get into gender studies next semester!! I’ve already done sociology and psych over the summer and both my profs sucked but the material itself was fun

I think the reasons men care about body count is because women are 2x more likely to care STDs. Sorry, but don’t allow facts to get in the way of your misandry.

I’m not being a misandrist, I asked this question to both men and women to gather views. Can you please source where you are getting that statistic from? I’d love to read how it works!

Just google women versus men having stds. There’s a dozen articles quoting the same research sources. Of course, they all frame it with the weird pseudoscience science to facilitate the victimhood status rather than attributing accountability to female behavior.

I did find one study that states women are more biologically at risk of getting STDS, but I also found a study that states men have higher sexual partners than women. I also clarify that I’m not accounting for personal compatibility, obviously someone with an STD wouldn’t be compatible to you, I mean more of a general sense do they judge someone off it. (I’ll also show ss of the studies!)

Men overcount. Women undercount. Blame misandrist hypergamy for making men feel uncomfortable for admitting lower body counts

What evidence do uiu have to support this claim? Also what credentials do uiu have to think they’re using pseudoscience? I’d love to hear about it and why you think so!

No no, I’d love to hear what evidence they have to support that any of the multiple studies that explain how and why the female reproductive tract is more susceptible to STDs is biased, and what credentials they have to support their claims!
