Is there anything I can do to prevent a bunch of dry skin being on my armpits every day besides scrubbing/exfoliating ?? Because nothing’s working

Lotion, unscented deodorants, and changing your razor/shaving products, and possibly the products you’re using to scrub/exfoliate might help. What products are you using on your armpits? Also, the dry skin kinda dark or is it normal skin/usual dry skin color?

A lot of people have chemical reactions, allergic reactions, etc with old spice. Me being one of them unfortunately. Def switch to a different one!!!

Hmmm could be psoriasis or eczema. Try hydrocortisone cream 1% over the counter

If it starts to get red and splotchy or painful it could be fungal. In which case use Athlete foot spray.

I recently switched to an old spice deodorant and it seems to be happening a lot more since then I always try to exfoliate my skin with one of those gloves but it’s usually just my armpits and face that have any dead skin left

I’ve had reactions to deodorants before but that always came with redness which is why I wasn’t so sure

OMG same thing happened to me when I switched to old spice a few years ago(I always have used native) so I switched back to native after that experience. But yes my pits were SO itchy and the skin was so weird and dry and then like darker too. Weirdest experience ever. I’d try going back to your normal deodorant or using one without aluminum and chemicals and then using aloe everyday should work.

Do you think you might be allergic? Also, how long are you waiting between shaving (assuming you do) to put on your deodorant?

old spice is notorious for having chemicals in their products and people having negative effects! i would definitely stop using that! anything else is better
