Hi OP, I am a guy and at the opposite end. Any woman that is nice will be seen as nice. It takes me a lot for me to consider if there is flirting. Some who do flirt won’t be noticed if it’s very low key. Better that way than being wrong :)

From my understanding, a lot of guys don’t usually get complimented or have people that are genuinely nice to them, so when it does happen, then they perceive it as flirting. I just assume that the girl is just being nice and go about my day, but that’s not the case for most.

I know that when a girl is nice she’s nice. I think it’s he thing is that eye contact and the level of her sharing details with me and bantering is what gets me feeling like “oh she’s into me” and “we’re flirting.” But if there isn’t banter while she’s sharing info about herself it’s hard to tell for me.
