Why do some of y’all say rejecting men should be normalized? Isn’t it already normalized?.. I mean I know that respecting rejection isn’t normalized for everybody but rejecting men is normalized. It happens a lot.. unless I’m wrong

Because a lot of men don’t take rejection respectfully and end up stalking, harassing, or harming women when doing so. So if rejection becomes more normal instead of taboo the harm against women will go down a bit. It won’t diminish entirely obviously but it wouldn’t be as bad to where women are overly cautious

Almost all of the men that would take rejection well have gotten used to it by rejecting themselves first.

But it is normal y’all do it a lot … respecting rejection isn’t as normal, so why not just say normalize respecting rejection?

Rejection isn’t that normal bc women feel they need to comply for safety. You know how many women give ppl their numbers and walk away to prevent harm and then just block the dude when they get home?

So the point is that Respecting rejection isn’t normal for everyone… not that rejection isn’t normal… every man I’ve known has been rejected… every woman I’ve known has had their rejection not respected at least once or twice… so clearly both are common things

Well every man you know isn’t every man to ever exist. Men don’t even approach that often to make rejection a normal thing bc men think of stupid incel like ways that women reject. Women aren’t animals that act crazy when they get approached. Some men act like they’ll be given the death penalty for approaching. It’s approaching with respect that’s the issue not rejection. There’s nothing wrong with rejection

So I’m not understanding the point of your question. Rejection should be normal bc ppl don’t take rejection lightly. That’s why it should be normal

I gave creedance to both. I validated both experiences and then you chose to invalidate the experience of men that are being rejected?…. Especially when I acknowledge that every woman that I know has had their rejection not respected…. You couldn’t at least extend the other arm in saying yes …it is true that a lot of men are rejected.?

I didn’t invalidate them you’re acting like I’m saying rejection shouldn’t be normalized bc of the men you personally know. You don’t know every man or every woman to know how rejection goes for every person. We’re saying rejection should be normalized bc it should be taught that rejection isn’t a negative thing. Bc many ppl treat it negatively. You acted like saying respectful rejection is different than rejection entirely. Rejection is rejection

It should be taught that rejection isn’t a negative thing… but in doing that, you’re just teaching people to respect rejection…. But what I’m asking to be acknowledged here that women reject a lot of men so rejection is already normalized

Just bc women reject men doesn’t mean the rejection was taken lightly that’s not the same thing

We’re saying rejection should be normalized bc of the ppl that get rejected not bc we’re rejecting them. Plenty of women have been harmed bc of rejection in public or anywhere

You’re highlighting the difference between rejecting men a lot and men respecting rejection right now…. The very reason why there should be a distinction.

Which is why respecting rejection should be taught and normalized . But a lot of people are being rejected. I think it does a lot of invalidation to say that rejection isn’t normalized.

There’s literally no difference bc women can also be violent towards men when being rejected. Do you have that same sentiment to men who reject women and women have thrown water on them or spit on them?

I do in fact, hold men and women to the same standard… however, which gender rejects more people on average?

If you have to question which gender does it more like it affects the outcome then you don’t hold men and women to the same standard. You actually hold a lot of misogyny towards women and treat them far differently vs men who do the same thing. Which is why you feel so strongly about women rejecting ppl

No one said that I don’t hold violence towards women and men by women or men to the same standard. The only reason why I bring up who rejects more it’s because it matters in the discussion about whether or not it’s normal. Because the predominant group experiencing the rejection is men. So the predominant people being invalidated is men.

It doesn’t. Bc the saying rejection should be normalized isn’t bc of the amount of times women reject men. It’s how ppl in general take the rejection of the specific person they asked. It has nothing to do with gender or the amount of times it happens at all

Men are not invalidated over being rejected get over yourself. That’s the problem. Men take rejection negatively like you’re doing now

And I’m telling you that when you conflate the non normalization of respecting rejection with saying that rejection is not normal you’re invalidating people specifically MEN that experience a lot of rejection and you keep missing that point over and over again stop missing that point address that ….stay there don’t go other places

So you don’t care you just want to be angry that women are rejecting you. You’re a sad human being

So I’m done discussing this bc you just want to be a misogynist or raging incel who clearly isn’t willing to understand the point
