is it bad that i want my boyfriend to offer to pay for my food? i’ve always wanted him to say “don’t worry baby i got it”, but he’s only done it maybe two times. i always end up paying my share

Talk to him about it then. Splitting the bill is rather normal now, especially in this economy

Nah it’s reasonable. My bf and I are very much a trade off who pays things bc it’s just so nice to feel like your partner is taking care of you. 50/50 is the best way to do it imo but every so often everyone deserves to be treated

That’s so reasonable. My bf pays for EVERYTHING and almost never asks me to pay. And when he does, I pull up his card on Apple Pay an he laughs. I would definitely have a conversation abt it!

i’m kinda scared, i’ve never asked for money to anyone. he had offered to send me money when my bank account was on the verge of closing due to no money. but i figured it out.
