Why do you think black women dating white men is more frowned upon than a black man dating a white woman? (Serious discussion, racism/bigotry/sexism unacceptable).

Not agreeing with this thinking but I think it’s because it’s seen as more of a gap. Women and black people are seen as the less than so a black woman has both of those and there’s a bigger “power dynamic” idk how to put it. Where as a black man has one of those things and a white woman has one of those things so it’s more “equal”

Intersectionality. Not only is she black, but she’s a woman. Multiple biases at play

i’ve seen the opposite, it seems way more frowned upon for a black guy to date a white woman (all the comments about how she will be a single mom and how white single moms always have mixed kids etc)

No because white women are the least likely group of women to even be dating out of their race. Also most black people marry another black person and black people speak poorly about men who don’t date black women also

Not trying to be racist but i think its because white woman typically set the beauty standard so its like why would a white guy go for a black girl? Makes sense that black guys would want a white girl.

Exactly there is way more negative stereotype when it’s the man who’s black
