Why do a lot of women actively interfere or try to discourage their friends from dating men they consider to be not in their friend’s “league”? Like as a guy, I would only get in the way if a girl was a terrible person and hurting my friend somehow

i’ve also never rly seen this happen unless a guy is approaching someone and clearly being annoying and the friend is trying to make him leave

if my friends happy that’s all that matters but if they’re complaining about them i’m gonna encourage them to go find better

But I would never try to interfere just because I thought a girl wasn’t in the same league as my friend as long as he’s happy

And it could be that I’m just around more superficial people, but I’ve seen it happen a lot both to me and guys I know. Like at a party a girl shows a picture of a guy she met and other girls are super negative about it because the guy is “chopped”, when it’s just a normal looking dude

Again I really don’t know. It could be the people who go to parties are more judgmental, it could be a hookup situation rather than a relationship? I’m not sure
