it’s fine for me in childhood or highschool or college friends context, not like a bestfriend though that’s kinda OD. i think people forget to realize that your friends are people you can hangout with one on one, text everyday, talk abt your problems with etc. and i just wouldn’t feel comfortable if my bf was venting to another girl abt a problem he has w me or texting another girl 24/7. also i don’t think new friendships w woman after u get into a relationship is uh necessary. just imo

Like childhood friends or old classmates/group partners I think is cool. I feel like the disrespect comes in to play when u befriend/friendzone a girl he knows likes him or something

Yeah exactly, there’s certain contexts where it’s okay and certain contexts where it’s not. Same goes for a girl in a relationship having guy friends.

Definitely!! It’s not about anyone in particular but I keep seeing how people genuinely get upset when their partner has friends of the opposite sex. I feel like it’s abnormal not to have friends outside your gender?

like if ur meeting a girl in college and you yap to her in class or otw to class or when u see her that’s chill don’t get me wrong, but nun of this we hanging out one on one , im otp w her for hours yapping, nun of that for no girl friends. i just think there’s a boundary of how u act w woman friends as a man in a relationship

My best friend is a man and he’s literally engaged. We still talk every day and his fiancée is well aware of me and is cool with that. I truly don’t care about gender in friendships. He’s an amazing person and I’m not giving that up for someone else’s jealousy
