“If your kids didn’t like vegetables, would you force them to eat them without their consent?” People are dumb…

it depends on their age lol if they are children yes ofc i would take them to get vaccines. if they are adult then no, i can talk to them but ultimately they can make their own decisions

forcing your kids to do things they don’t want to do is a conversation to be had but I’ll be damned if someone under my care doesn’t take the necessary precautions to keep themselves safe and alive, and affects the wellbeing of another person’s child.

Well they still have to chew and shallow the food, they have to do that on their own

You're gonna be a bad parent if you're forcing your kids to eat things they don't like

You’re treating kids without any respect or autonomy, you can’t force them to do what you want to do. That’s one of the reason why so many people are cutting off toxic parents today

there’s nuance to it. kids absolutely deserve respect and autonomy, but they need to learn lessons that they don’t get to do everything they want to do. pretty basic parenting stuff.

sometimes taking care of your kids looks like making decisions they don’t like. who’s the better parent? the parent that makes sure their kid is healthy and safe or the parent that lets their kid do unhealthy/ unsafe things because they want to?

dude have you ever been around kids?😭 ofc they won’t wanna get a needle it’s scary. they also don’t want to go to the dentist does that mean you’ll just let their teeth rot?

kids don’t know what is best for them. i babysit all the time and if i let them do what they wanted they would literally die. and if they happened to have self preservation figured out at age freaking 3 they would grow up and never mature or learn a lesson. you people are insane thinking kids should have free rein. freedom yes, natural consequences yes, but absolute autonomy, hell no
