My boyfriend insists on giving our new kitten a bath but I have no idea what to think because she keeps mewing anytime the water touches her. Is this right cat behavior?

You can bathe cats, and it’s good to start as kittens so they get desensitized and not tweak as adults, especially if it looks like it’s gonna have longer fur as it gets older

Cats meow when they’re in unfamiliar or uncomfortable situations, if she’s dirty or has fleas then you should still bathe her

you should only really bathe cats if they need it tho, they generally can keep themselves clean

Hey so this is actually normal yes BUT the more you do it the more familiar she’ll be aka she’ll get calmer ALSO mess with her feet and trim her nails now that she’s a kitten to get her to be familiar with that!! Train her to use cat post so she doesn’t claw up furniture so there’s no declawing!

No, but it’s deblurred using Google Photos though since it was a shaky image
